Most of my friends who I've met in Japan, are not unlike me. They leave, they come back, leave, comeback. For many of us who have lived in Japan for a decent amount of time, there's just something very special about this place. We've often tried to put our finger on exactly what it is, but there are so many little things that just make it, well, Japan. Bex, once an ALT in Fukushima with me, has just completed her second season in the snow paradise of Niseko, Hokkaido. Her final weekend in Japan, she ventured down to Toks for some fun and games. We filled our weekend with shopping, and eating, oh, and a museum. The Alice theme restaurant and Afternoon high tea at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel (magnificent!!!) were our main highlights, as well as the Ghibli museum which we've all wanted to visit for some time.
