Spring break in Japan is usually all about getting out and about and picnicking under the cherry blossom trees for the few days or week that they stay in bloom. However, spring break this year was a fair bit earlier for me, so I headed up to Hokkaido to visit Bex, onsen every day and play in the snow. The conditions weren't as good as the previous few years I've visited but nonetheless I had a wonderful, fun and relaxing catch up and break away. Bex even managed a couple of days off and we took a snow & onsen break away from my trip to a nearby resort, Ryusutsu. It even had a carousel in the lobby!!
